Description

Georges Apparut (b. 1877 Juraincourt, d. 1948 Mirecourt, France) was the son and pupil of Leon Apparut. He worked for Blanchard in Lyons from 1896-1899, and Mougenot in Brussels from 1900-1903. He succeeded to the business of Charotte at Mirecourt in 1925. Awarded gold medals at Nancy, Brussels, Metz, Ghent, and Paris. Personal model, and copies of particular classical makers. Very well executed and a high degree of finish.
