The Ultra practice mute made is made from light weight, sound-deadening rubber. It covers the entire bridge and provides medium-strong muting effect for practicing late at night, in hotels, or anywhere with thin walls and irritable neighbors. The firm rubber material produces a bit less clear tone than a metal mute, but poses much less risk to the instrument if the mute should fall off accidentally. Made in the USA.
