Description

This Stradivari model violin was made in the workshop of Heinrich Theodore Heberlin, Jr. in Markneukirchen, Germany in 1920. The Heberlein history found in the above photos is taken from expert researcher Bruce Babbitt's Markneukirchen Violins and Bows. This violin very closely resembles the two 1726 Stradivari Model 8 violins found in Mr. Babbitt's publication. Those violins, also from the 1920's, were made by Heinrich Theodor Jr.'s son and business successor Paul Wilhelm Heberlein.
