Description
Paul Alexandre Mangenot/Maugenot (1862-1942) made violins in Mirecourt, France after 1888. He was a prolific maker of violins, violas, cellos, and double basses in the Mirecourt tradition. This violin was made in the Marc Laberte workshop c. 1930. It is in excellent condition and has a fine deeply flamed two-piece maple back.
