Description
This mid 18th-Century violin bears a handwritten label that reads Sebastian Klotz, 1747. While not the work of Klotz, this Stainer inspired violin bears a resemblance to the Klotz school of making and is likely from the same time period. The violin is of Saxon or north Austrian origin.
