Adventures in the Arts is a premiere music and arts academy that has been in existence for 25 years. It is a ministry of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church in Little Rock and its goal is to provide to the community a safe haven for children and adults who are interested in learning and experiencing music and the arts. We offer lessons in piano, violin, voice, percussion, organ, visual arts, and much more. Our faculty are all masters in their fields, with degrees in music and the arts, with many years of experience.

Teaches: Violin
Our violin instructors will teach all styles of music, from learning to play by ear to reading music. If you want to play classical music or the fiddle, we have a teacher for you. Students can be as young as 5 years old, or younger with the teacher's approval. Our students love learning the fundamentals, as well as incorporating your favorite songs into their lessons. Our violin teachers have friendly personalities and love working with children and teens and adults!

Operated by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the mission of the Sturgis Music Academy is to provide an opportunity for excellence in the pursuit of high-quality musical education, based on the methods and philosophies of Shinichi Suzuki, Mimi Zweig and Paul Rolland. This is a proven method for developing confidence, creative thinking, and a general work ethic that will assist students' musical and non-musical endeavors. The students of the Academy receive weekly group and private lessons, as well as virtual performance opportunities throughout the semester.
